Guilford County, NC (June 23, 2020) – Four teenagers were killed in a car accident in Guilford County on Monday. The accident happened just before 4:30 near the I-40/I-85 split.
Police say that a 16-year-old driver was traveling northbound in a 2004 Honda when he lost control of the vehicle. The car traveled off the road and struck a tree. The driver and three passengers, ages 16, 16, and 15 were all killed in the crash. Another passenger was seriously injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. No additional details have been released.
