Harnett County, NC (September 7, 2020) – Three people suffered injuries after a head-on crash in Harnett County on Sunday afternoon. The crash took place around 2:30 p.m. along US 421 near RayMack Drive.
According to Sgt. Stahl of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, three cars were involved in the accident. It is unclear at this time exactly how the crash took place. Following the accident, rescue workers arrived at the scene and provided medical aid to the injured victims. At least one person suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident and was airlifted to WakeMed in Raleigh for treatment. There is no information on any of the victims’ conditions at this time. Police have not identified anyone that was involved in the accident.
Troopers continue to investigate the collision and its cause. No charges have been issued pending the outcome of the investigation. There is no additional information available at this time.
