High Point, NC (January 16, 2021) – A passenger sustained injuries in a car accident that took place in High Point on Thursday, January 14th. The crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. on South Main Street near the intersection with Archdale Road.
According to Officer L.B. Herd of the High Point Police Department, Aaron Lee Norris, of Greensboro, was operating a 2009 Kia southbound on South Main Street when he came to a stoplight. Norris failed to stop at the stoplight and entered the intersection where he collided with a 2005 Honda driven by Louis Marc Henris, of High Point. Following the crash, the Guilford County EMS arrived at the scene. A passenger in Noris’s vehicle, Barbara Hedrick Landreth, sustained a knee injury in the accident. Landreth was taken to High Point Regional Hospital for treatment. There were no other injuries reported. Police charged Norris with failing to stop at a stoplight.
