North Carolina Car Accidents
In North Carolina, hundreds of injury accidents take place across the state each day. These car crashes can happen suddenly and very unexpectedly. They often leave innocent victims suffering from injuries that can result in very extensive and complicated medical treatment. The resulting fallout from a North Carolina car accident can be quite high. A collision can affect every area of your life, including your mental and physical health, your ability to work, and your ability to enjoy many of the activities that you once enjoyed before the accident. You may have a long road to recovery, with many weeks or months of medical care, as you try to get back to normal after the accident.
While things may seem frustrating, you could be entitled to compensation to help you overcome some of the obstacles that you are facing. If the accident was not your fault, you may have important and valuable legal rights that can assist you in getting through this time. Under North Carolina’s personal injury laws, you have three years from the date of the accident to file your claim against the other driver. If you were not at fault for the crash, you can recover medical bills, lost wages, and more. The compensation that you receive can help bridge the gap between the crash and your recovery.
