High Point, NC (February 19, 2021) – A 33-year-old man was killed following a pedestrian crash in High Point on Thursday night. The crash happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 74 near Greensboro Road around 11:30 p.m.
The High Point Police Department responded to the scene of the accident. According to a report from authorities, 33-year-old Brian Keith Ewing, Jr. attempted to cross the highway on foot. As Ewing crossed the road, he was hit by a pickup truck driven by an unidentified driver. Ewing died at the accident scene. The driver was not hurt in the crash and remained on the scene to speak with authorities. No one else was involved in the accident.
