Car Accidents in North Carolina
There are hundreds of reported car accidents in North Carolina each day. Based on the most recent statistics, about one-third to one-half of all reported crashes will result in injuries to one or more victims. There are many factors that go into whether a crash results in injuries, including the manner of the collision, the speed at which the vehicles are traveling, and whether one or more drivers has a chance to take evasive action to avoid the full impact of the crash.
The injuries sustained in a North Carolina car accident can be quite serious and can include broken bones, head trauma, neck and spinal cord injuries, and damage to soft tissue, including bones and ligaments. The pain from these injuries can linger for weeks and even months following the crash, resulting in high medical bills, missed work, and a decrease in quality of life. Sadly, many victims of North Carolina car accidents are not at fault for the crash and are hurt due to the actions of a negligent driver.
