North Carolina Car Accidents
Being involved in a car accident in North Carolina can have major, life-changing consequences for those involved. According to statistics, there were nearly 300,000 car accidents reported on North Carolina’s roadways in 2019. Since 2014, our state has seen the number of annual traffic accidents increase by more than 60,000. In the future, we can expect to see this number continue to rise as we see more motorists and an increase in population.
Many victims experience serious injuries following a North Carolina car accident. These injuries can include broken bones, scars, head trauma, neck and spinal cord injuries, as well as permanent disfigurement, and even death. The cause of each crash must be carefully investigated by authorities. Depending on the circumstances of the accident, you could be entitled to compensation if the crash was not your fault. It is common for a driver to disobey a traffic law such as failing to yield to another vehicle. This type of negligent driving behavior can lead to legal liability for the other driver.
