Knightdale, NC (February 6, 2021) – A woman from Clayton suffered injuries in a two-car crash that took place in Knightdale on Monday, February 1st. The collision was reported on SR 2228 around 3;00 p.m.
According to Trooper L.M. Foss of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Joshua Ryan Jarvis, of Wake Forest, was operating a 2009 Nissan southbound on SR 2228 when he lost control of his car and crossed the centerline of the roadway. Jarvis tried to correct his vehicle but sideswiped a 2015 Hyundai driven by Daszia White. The impact forced White’s vehicle off the roadway where it came to rest in the grass.
An ambulance arrived at the scene and transported White to Wake Med Hospital with unknown injuries. Jarvis was not hurt in the crash. Following an investigation, Trooper Foss cited Jarvis with failing to maintain lane control, no operator’s license, and driving while his license was revoked.

We would like to offer our thoughts and best wishes to Daszia White following this car accident in Knightdale. We hope for a complete and speedy recovery from her injuries.
North Carolina Car Accidents
Being involved in a North Carolina car accident can be a life-changing event. Each day across our state, there are numerous serious crashes that leave victims suffering from injuries that require hospitalization and extensive medical care. Following a car accident in North Carolina, your medical bills can quickly add up, leaving you in a difficult financial position. In addition to this, a crash can cause severe and debilitating injuries that can affect your ability to work and your quality of life. Depending on the severity of your accident, it may take weeks and even months before you are able to fully heal and resume the life that you once enjoyed.
Following a car accident, you should have a full understanding of your legal rights. While the crash itself can be severely disruptive, it does not have to hinder your future. Under North Carolina law, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries. This can help you get the medical care that you need to speed up your recovery and help you get back to normal earlier. While no amount of money can change the negative effects of the accident, it is imperative to ensure that you are not left financially responsible for the negligence or carelessness of another driver.
