Lexington, NC (June 9, 2020) – Authorities have identified the two men killed in a head-on crash along I-85 over the weekend. The crash took place on Saturday, June 5th around 2:00 a.m.
According to the State Highway Patrol, 72-year-old William Douglas Henderson was driving a Chevy Tahoe southbound in the northbound lanes of I-85. Henderson’s vehicle collided head-on with a Chrysler 200 driven by 24-year-old Kymani Deshaun Black. Both Black and Henderson died as a result of the crash. A passenger in the Chrysler 200 was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation and there is no further information available at this time.
