Raleigh, NC (November 10, 2020) – Police in Raleigh are investigating following a serious crash that took place on Monday night. The accident happened on Ridge Road near the intersection with Lake Boone Trail.
The Raleigh Police Department was called to the scene shortly after the accident took place. According to a report from police, a sedan and a truck were traveling in opposite directions on Ridge Road when the two vehicles collided with one another head-on. At this time, it is not clear which vehicle crossed the dividing lane and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Rescue workers rushed to the scene and extricated one driver from their vehicle. The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
