Multiple-Driver Crashes in North Carolina
Several vehicle accidents occur in North Carolina every day. Sadly, many of these crashes will result in injuries and, in the worst-case scenario, deaths. Every year, over 1,500 people are killed in car accidents in our state, with approximately 500 of those deaths being caused by alcohol. A DUI incident is especially terrible since the driver made the conscious decision to drive while impaired. Impaired drivers pose an unusually high danger to themselves and everyone else on the road due to shortened reaction times and an inability to perceive the hazards of driving a vehicle.
Accidents that involve a motorist who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs may result in difficult legal challenges. Investigations into these crashes need to be carried out thoroughly in order to discover what brought about them. Get in touch with a lawyer as soon as you can if you or a member of your family has been damaged or injured as a result of the conduct of a drunk driver. You should do this as soon as feasible.
A seasoned injury accident lawyer in North Carolina is able to research the particulars of the accident and present a strong case on your side if you choose them. Due to the exceptionally risky nature of operating a vehicle while driving recklessly, under the influence of alcohol, or participating in other dangerous behaviors while behind the wheel, victims of accidents like these may be eligible for specific additional damages.
