Raleigh, NC (April 29, 2022) – The Raleigh Police Department was at the scene of a fatal accident on Wednesdsay, April 27th. The crash took place on Wake Forest Road just north of the beltline.
According to a report from the area, at least one person lost their life in the collision. Two others suffered injuries although there is no word on the nature or the extent of the injuries involved. Police are still investigating the accident in order to determine how it took place and there is no word at this time on whether any charges are expected to be filed. The identities of those involved were not immediately released.
The road was shut down for several hours as police investigated the accident. During that time, motorists were urged to find alternate routes of travel and to avoid the area if possible.
