Raleigh, NC (June 13, 2022) – Officials in Raleigh responded to the scene of a pedestrian crash on Monday morning, June 13th. The accident took place around 2:30 a.m. on Capital Boulevard at the intersection with Calvary Drive.
According to a report from the scene, a pedestrian was walking along Capital Boulevard when they were struck by a vehicle. Paramedics arrived and transported the injured pedestrian to WakeMed. The pedestrian’s injuries were described as serious, but it is unclear if they are life-threatening.
The driver involved in the crash has not been identified at this time and remained at the scene of the collision. There were no other injuries reported and no one else was involved in the accident.
It is not clear if the driver will be charged in connection with the accident. There is no further information available.
