Raleigh, NC (September 24, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries after a car accident in Raleigh on Friday, September 24th. The accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Poole Road and William Road.
The Wake County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene. According to officers, a Wake County deputy and another person were among the victims. Both the deputy and the other victim were treated by paramedics at the scene before being transferred to a Raleigh hospital. There is no word on what led up to the collision at this time. All lanes of Poole Road were closed while authorities were at the scene. Neither of the victims were identified and there is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed.
