Raleigh, NC (February 28, 2021) – The Raleigh Police Department responded to the scene of a serious crash in the city on Saturday, February 27th. The incident took place in the 6300 block of Six Forks Road just before 5:00 a.m.
According to officers, one of the vehicles involved in the accident collided with a tree. Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene and were forced to cut the roof off of the vehicle in order to extricate the occupants. Paramedics transported two people to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. There is no word on the events leading up to the accident. The identities of the victims have also not been revealed.
Police are still investigating the accident at this time. There is no word on potential charges and no further information is available.
