Raleigh, NC (June 2, 2022) – Two people were killed in a crash that happened on Louisburg Road in Raleigh. The accident occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1st near Valley Stream Drive.
According to a report from the area, a total of four vehicles were involved in the accident. In addition to the two fatalities, three other people were taken to WakeMed with serious injuries. A sixth person was treated for minor injuries. Police say that the crash occurred when a 21-year-old man, later identified as Jeylin Molina-Duran, was traveling northbound on Louisburg when a struck a Hyundai Elantra that was also traveling northbound. The Elantra then hit a Honda Civic and a Toyota Camry. There is no word on which occupants were killed or injured in the collision.
Following an investigation, police charged Molina-Duran with two counts of felony death by vehicle. An investigation is underway at this time.
