Raleigh, NC (February 7, 2021) – A woman from Raleigh was hurt in a hit-and-run crash that happened in Raleigh on Friday night. The incident took place on Ten-Ten Road.
Police and rescue workers responded to the crash scene shortly after being dispatched. According to a report from officials, a woman standing near Ten-Ten Road when she saw an accident ahead of her. As she was standing near the road and attempting to warn passing motorists about the crash ahead, she was struck by a white Kia Soul. The driver of the Kia fled the scene immediately after striking the woman.
The woman, who has not been identified at this time, was taken to a local hospital where she was being treated for a broken leg. There is no further word on her condition.
Police are still searching for the driver of the Kia Soul and an investigation into the incident is ongoing. There is no further information available at this time.
