North Carolina Car Accidents
Fatal car accidents in North Carolina can be a tragic experience and can take quite a toll on those who are affected by the crash. Unfortunately, nearly 1,500 people are killed every year in crashes that occur on our state’s roadways. The cause of every accident must be carefully investigated by authorities who will then issue a report on the collision. Deadly accidents are most often caused by the negligence or error of at least one person who is directly involved. This includes speeding, careless driving, impaired driving and distraction.
If you have recently experienced the loss of a loved one, our thoughts are with you. During this time, it is important to understand the legal rights that you have. If your loved one was killed because of someone else’s negligence, you could be entitled to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the other driver. Wrongful death actions are complicated and have many legal technicalities. These cases should be filed only by a skilled and experienced lawyer.
