Sanford, NC – Two Truck Drivers Killed in Head-On Crash on Horner Boulevard

Sanford, NC (July 1, 2020) – Two truck drivers were killed in a head-on crash in Sanford on Wednesday. The crash happened around 1:00 p.m. on Horner Boulevard at the intersection with Wilkins Drive.
According to reports from the scene, two tractor-trailers were traveling in opposite directions on Horner Boulevard. Suddenly, and for unknown reasons, the southbound truck crossed over the median and struck the northbound truck head-on. Both drivers died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. Neither driver was immediately identified.
Police are still investigating the crash at this time. There are no further details available.
