Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in North Carolina
North Carolina motorcycle accidents have the potential to be very catastrophic and life-altering events. Serious injuries and death take place in motorcycle crashes at a rate that is much higher than other types of vehicle accidents. Motorcycles are simply not built to withstand the speed and force of a crash involving a larger vehicle. In addition, many riders are thrown from their bike when a collision occurs, thus resulting in a greater chance of serious injuries such as head, neck, and spinal cord trauma.
If you or a loved one have been affected by a motorcycle accident in North Carolina, you should have a full understanding of your legal rights. Motorcycle crashes often occur due to the negligence of another driver. Drivers commonly fail to see motorcycles on the roadway or cause collisions when they fail to yield. Due to the fact that so many motorcyclists are innocent victims, there are often serious legal implications involved with a motorcycle accident.
Under our state’s law, you could be entitled to recover various types of compensation. As a result of the seriousness of motorcycle accidents, it is imperative to receive the maximum amount you can recover under the facts of your case.
