Fatal Accidents in North Carolina
In a recent year, there were 11,345 reported drunk driving crashes in North Carolina. These accidents resulted in 411 fatalities and many more injuries. The decision to consume alcohol and then drive while impaired is one of the most reckless and careless decisions that can be made. Not only does the impaired driver place themselves at risk, but they also endanger the lives of all others on the roadway. Drunk drivers lack the ability to appreciate the dangers of operating a motor vehicle. They also have a slower reaction time, making them more likely to be unable to avoid danger and cause an accident to take place.
If you have been a victim of a drunk driving crash, you should seek the services of a skilled and trusted attorney. Your attorney can provide you with solid legal advice and can also help you navigate the nuances of the legal system. If you were hurt by someone else’s negligence, you may be in need of compensation to pay your medical bills and reimburse you for your lost wages and pain and suffering, It is important to hire a lawyer who can help you reach your goals in an efficient and effective manner.
