Wallburg, NC (June 15, 2020) – A 68-year-old Kernersville resident was killed in a two-car crash on Abbotts Creek Church Road in Wallburg. The crash took place on Sunday, June 14th.
Troopers with the State Highway Patrol report that Doris Hilton Anglin was traveling southwest on Abbotts Creek when a collision occurred with a 2017 Honda traveling southeast on Wallburg-High Point Road. The driver of the Honda was identified only as a 19-year-old from High Point. After colliding with the Ford, Anglin’s vehicle continued traveling before striking a utility pole and coming to rest.
Anglin died as a result of her injuries while the teenager suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is still under investigation at this time. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed.
