Wendell, NC (December 19, 2021) – A pregnant woman was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Wendell on Saturday afternoon. The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Turnispeed and Major Slade Roads.
Troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene. According to a report, there were two Ford pickup trucks and a Ford SUV involved in the collision. One person was issued a charge for failing to yield at a stop sign. The injured woman was transported from the scene and was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Her identity has not been released at this time. There is no word on whether anyone else was hurt.
The crash remains under investigation. There is no additional information available.
