Winston-Salem, NC (March 25, 2021) – A woman from Kernersville sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident that took place on Tuesday. The accident happened on High Point Road at the intersection with Glenn Hi Road.
Officer G.H. Russell, II with the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to the scene of the crash. According to Officer Russell, Eloya Danielle Jenkins was driving a vehicle on Glenn Hi Road when she came to the intersection with High Point Road. Jenkins attempted to make a left turn onto High Point Road. As she was turning, she failed to see a vehicle driven by Brenda Jenkins. The two vehicles collided just outside the intersection.
Brenda Jenkins suffered undisclosed injuries in the accident. She was taken to Baptist Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. There is no word on any other injuries that were sustained as a result of the crash.
Police are still looking into the wreck at this time. There is no additional information available.
