Winston-Salem, NC (February 23, 2021) – The Winston-Salem Police Department responded to the scene of a three-vehicle crash in the city on Monday, February 22nd. The crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Silas Creek Parkway at the exit ramp for Interstate 40.
Officer T.N. Jones of the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to the crash scene. According to a report from Officer Jones, Victor Reyes came to the intersection and attempted to turn left onto Silas Creek Parkway from I-40. Reyes told police he had a green light when he tried to make his turn. As he turned, his car was hit by a vehicle driven by Colby Seth Caudle of Boonville. Following the initial crash, Caudle’s vehicle then struck a third vehicle driven by Belgacem Benadlementalee, of Winston-Salem.
Both Reyes and Benadlementalee suffered undisclosed injuries and were taken to Forsyth Hospital for treatment. There is no word on their conditions at this time. Reyes and Caudle were both charged with no operator’s license.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing. There are no further details available.
