Zebulon, NC (July 16, 2021) – Police in Zebulon responded to the scene of a serious car accident on Friday, July 16th. The accident was first reported just before 6:00 p.m. on North Arendell Avenue near the intersection with Highway 64 East.
When officials arrived at the scene, they discovered at least one person had been struck by a vehicle. The injured victim was treated at the scene for undisclosed injuries. There is no update on their condition at this time. Police have not provided any details on the events leading up to the accident. The victim has not been identified at this time. Due to road closures in the area motorists were advised to use caution and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
